Biography

Faisal Hamadi was named Vice President, Kennametal Inc. and President, Infrastructure Segment effective January 20, 2025. In this role, he has global responsibility for the Infrastructure segment. He is accountable for creating value for Infrastructure customers, investors and key stakeholders by delivering growth, driving continuous improvement, optimizing the portfolio and advancing the business strategy in the advanced materials, earth cutting tools, engineered components, additive manufacturing and ceramics businesses within the segment.

Faisal joined Kennametal in 2024 as Vice President Value Creation Systems Office leading the company's business systems and tools focused on lean, growth and strategy advancement.

Prior to Kennametal, Faisal spent 17 years at Eaton Corporation where he had experience in progressively larger roles including but not limited to Finance Manager, Product Manager, Sales Manager, Plant Manager and General Manager. Most recently, he had P&L ownership as the General Manager of a $600 million aerospace business that served major global airlines and had more than 1,000 employees.

Faisal holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Michigan State and a master's degree in finance from Johns Hopkins University.
