Dr. Carlonda Reilly
Carlonda R. Reilly, Ph.D., is vice president and chief technology officer of Kennametal Inc. In this role, she is responsible for leading Kennametal’s global research, development and engineering organization.
Carlonda joined Kennametal in September of 2018. Prior to her current role, she served as global technology director in DuPont’s Transportation and Advanced Polymers business.
Throughout her more than 22-year career at DuPont, Carlonda has held various R&D, operations, marketing and business leadership roles, including serving as global technology director for DuPont’s Building Innovations.
Dr. Reilly holds a bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) and a M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Delaware all in chemical engineering. She is a member of the Board of Directors for W. L. Gore and Associates, St. Vincent College, the University of Delaware Research Foundation and The Advanced Leadership Institute and is the Board Chairman for Kennametal Shared Services Private Limited. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the Carnegie Science Center.
