LATROBE, Pa., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Consistent with its previous reporting practices, Kennametal Inc. (NYSE: KMT) announced today that it will release its second-quarter financial results Wednesday, January 31, 2001. The results will be made available in an early morning news release and will be discussed in a conference that will be broadcast live over the Internet at 10:00 a.m. The conference will include a review of the company's second-quarter results and expectations for the remainder of the fiscal year.

The conference will be archived online two hours after completion of the call and will be available for replay for 90 days.
