LATROBE, Pa., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kennametal Inc. (NYSE: KMT) has announced that it will release its first-quarter fiscal 2005 financial results Wednesday, October 27, 2004. The results will be made available in an early morning news release and discussed in a live broadcast over the Internet at 10:00 a.m. Eastern.

The live conference can be accessed by visiting the Investor Relations section of Kennametal's corporate web site: http://www.kennametal.com and following the prompt at the top of the page. The conference will be archived online two hours after completion of the call and will be available for replay for 7 days.
